Summary

Acted for joint venture party in respect of development and construction of a large high-rise residential property in Perth. Contribution to this project extends to participation in the management and negotiation processes of the project, as well as documenting the joint venture agreement, including all related ancillary documentation. Transaction value approx $60 million.

  • Involved in the due diligence for a internationally renowned winery based in Western Australia in anticipation of a major commercial transaction valued at over $30 million.
  • Acting for a purchaser of major construction industry assets, in relation to the documentation of the transactions and negotiations with the other party. Transactional value over $18 million.
  • Acting for a unit trust to acquire land approved for subdivision in Mandurah. Working with our property team, regulation and compliance team, and settlements division, transactions involved negotiating final approval consents, preparation of contracts for sale, management of settlements and negotiations with the mortgagee.
  • Acting for a significant transport business, advising in relation to the purchase of a related business involving significant contractual issues with the owner and ownership and transfer of plant and equipment.
