Summary 

  • Acted for joint venture party with regard to development and construction of a high-rise Perth residential property, extending to participation in the management and negotiation processes, as well as documenting the joint venture agreement, including all related ancillary documentation. Transaction value approximately $60 million.
  • Acted for a major Western Australian leisure resort in matters including leasing and management agreements and other ancillary matters such as workplace relations and liquor licensing. 
  • Acquired a site in Busselton on behalf of a developer, which incorporated negotiating and advising on planning issues, building contracts and leasing matters. The property was then sold to a listed property trust. 
  • Acting in an ongoing matter involving the purchase of a large office building, with incorporates issues relating to acquisition of finance redevelopment, conversion from commercial to residential, leasing and strata titling. 
  • Acted in relation to the sale of a Perth city hotel, which included negotiating and documenting the sale and all ancillary transactions. 
  • Acted for a unit trust to acquire land approved for subdivision in Mandurah. This matter utilised the skills of our commercial and corporate teams as well as our settlements division. The transaction involved negotiating final approval consents, preparation of contracts for sale, management of settlements and negotiations with the mortgagee.
